You become so desperate to feel good, are 'too busy' to research your depression treatment without medication options, have reached your 'limit', are in the habit of giving your power &  responsibility of your health over to an 'Authority' you  have been brought up to trust above all others, this authority doesn't even tell you the dire 'side effects' and before you know it you are waiting for your medication to kick in thinking "All is well now".... 

Until the 'side effects' turn out to be as powerful as the primary effects of your medication ( even though the primary effects are NOT that crash hot )

Statistics of psychiatric Medication in Australia 2022 - 2023

• 48 MILLION prescriptions for psychiatric/ psychotropic medication filled

• 18 % approximately of the population is on them - practically 1 out of 5 people

• Approximately 85% of psychiatric medication is prescribed by Doctors - General Practitioners. * just a thought... if psychologists do NOT need to undergo ANY form of experiential psychotherapy to gain an understanding of the human psyche in order to graduate, what is the General Practitioners level of understanding? 

Side Effects

* The focus of this is the prevalent SSRI medication as this is the most widely used psychotropic medication in Australia. SSRI's are followed closely behind in frequency of use by 1. Anti Psychotics, 2. Benzodiazepines, and 3. ADHD Medication

As we are very behind times in Australia as far as treatment centers for depression and anxiety, I will refer to US studies - where the use of SSRI's for example - has been much more long term therefore the US has a better grasp of the truth.

Studies in America conclude use of SSRI's: result in:

• emotional numbness' where people miss out on the daily richness of their feeling & emotional life,
• feeling agitated, shaky & nervous
• feeling or being sick
• indigestion  
• diarrhoea or constipation,
• weight gain long term, 
• loss of appetite,
• reduced positive feelings about oneself and life, 
• insomnia, 
• nausea & sickness, 
• G.I.T. problems, 
• dizziness,
• blurred vision,  
• excessive sweating
• loss of libido,
• inability to orgasm,
• pronounced sexual dysfunction - erectile in men - which according to evidence is not only long term, But quite likely permanent in some cases,
• increase in suicidal thoughts and actions by a whopping 60%. -

The same side effects of ALL NARCOTICS really!

Why were you NOT informed? Yes, you should take profound personal responsibility and own the fact that you blindly let someone get you addicted to EXPERIMENTAL pharmaceuticals  OR you can ask yourself "Where is the ethics & integrity in the actions of the prescriber you trust? Where is the accountability & honesty in the system?

Privately ask an objective Doctor or Chemist what their thoughts are on these experimental 'Siders' - Not 'uppers' not 'downers' these drugs just 'bend you sideways' - really are?

"I would NOT go on these medications myself" is the usual response... OR 

"Cocaine and Heroin are healthier options as at least they come from natural plant alkaloids " I have had confided to me on occasions.

If this is not enough to make you re-assess your narrative on mainstream medical intervention in mental illness, I have saved the best till last...

ADHD - Attention Deficit Hyperactive 'Disorder' 

Dr. Gabor Mate' - World Renowned Doctor of Psychiatry, specializing in addiction is quoted:  " ...origins in infancy. It is rooted in multigenerational family stress and in disturbed social conditions in a stressed society.  It is a defense mechanism of anybody to be distracted and 'scattered' if they are sitting on a lot of stress*"

*Stress = Diplomatic term for emotional buildup/ emotional charge - Multi generational emotional dysfunction is what he is saying. 

So children as young as 3 years of age - are addicted BY THEIR DOCTOR to DEXTROAMPHETAMINE - The worlds 2nd most powerful amphetamine after Methamphetamine - with their parents permission of course - blindly giving authority to a power 'Who knows better then them" - ALL in order NOT to disturb themselves  & surrounding adults with their children's emotional process.

*If it is not dextroamphetamine children are being addicted to its a synthetic version of cocaine - Ritalin or Concerta.

For decades psychotherapists have been joking.... " So, when are they going to call it for what it is? PADD - Parental Attention Deficit Disorder?
